My name is Brittany.

I'm a senior in high school.  I've been writing ever since I can remember; practically since I learned how to write.  It was my first passion, and I've never stopped.  Along with writing, I read constantly, and I love taking pictures.  Photography is my second passion.  Next year (in October), I'll be going to college, majoring in Photography and photo-journalism.  My family and my friends are the most important things in my life.  They mean everything to me.  My mom, my dad, my brother, my boyfriend, and my two best friends are my entire world.  There is no way I would be able to live without any of them.

I am a complete and total music freak.  I have an abnormal love affair with punk-rock music, and I play two instruments.  I play the cello, and I'm a drummer in my high school marching band, which has pretty much owned my life for the last five years.  I have never done anything that was more fun in my entire life.

I have this weird obsession and endless pop-culture knowledge of the 80's (don't ask me why... I just do), and an almost un-healthy obsession with movies and books.  I don't watch very much television, but I do watch 2 shows religiously.  "Lost" and "Gilmore Girls".  As stereotypical as it sounds, I adore Nicholas Sparks novels, and I think he's one of the greatest writers of our time.  Along with, my hero, J.K. Rowling.  I have been entranced by Harry Potter since I was eleven-years-old, and it has yet to end.  I love the books, I love the movies... and yes, the last movie will come out when I am around 21, but do I care?  Hell no.  I'll be the first in line for tickets.

I'm quirky, I'm unique, I'm random, I'm fun, I'm sarcastic as hell, I'm outgoing, I'm shy.... I'm the biggest oxymoron you will ever meet in your entire life.  I'm blonde and I certainly have my moments, but don't let it fool you.  I am intelligent.  I'm a proud believer in dressing how you want to, not because it's trendy.  

 
I may look scary (my favorite color is black, and I enjoy eyeliner, black fingernail polish,  studded belts, and my favorite store is Hot Topic), but don't let the look decieve you; don't judge a book by the cover.  I'm an incredibly happy, upbeat, almost annoyingly perky person, and I try not to take myself too seriously.

I love to have fun, I love to make people smile, I make bad jokes and laugh at them because it makes others laugh, I love giving people hugs, and I'm sometimes not easy to get along with, but I'm me nonetheless, and I wouldn't change anything for the world.  Take it or leave it; love it or don't... That's me in a nutshell.
